Yes, it's no problem (with the running anywaY).
Just schedule savegrp -G name_of_savegroup
e.g. savegrp -G Default
The problem comes if you want to cancel the savegroup. You have to go in and kill the processes (so you need a version of kill on your system, try sysinternals if you don't have one) as you can't use the Networker GUI to cancel a group that was not started by Networker.
