Please help.

How do I execute a program client side?

E.g. On our intranet i want to put links to open programs instead of shortcuts on the desktops of the PC's.

Thank you in advance.

Well if you want to use WEB interface for a desktop shell - intranet is not the right solution. Security restrictionas should apply to it. However see this link:
- ASP exectued in the IE. PRobably this will meet your needs - you can still write WEB application (in ASP or any CGI processor), but perform operations typical for the desktop programming.

I found an activeX plug in from a company called Particle. The product is called IntraLaunch. It allows you to execute apps client-side from web pages delivered by an Intranet server. Site licence approx. $500.
