Exec Password change for a 3500XL

Afternoon Folk ...

need some directions/mans to help me reset the exec password on our 3500XL.

Go into Global Config mode. i.e. conf t
Then type, enable secret <password>

I'm guessing you can't get into the switch to change it. If that the case, I know on the 2900XL series if you hold down the mode button and reconnect power to the switch (let go after a couple of seconds) you can stop the boot process before it starts up. Then do the following:

flash_init
load_helper
dir flash:
rename flash:config.text flash:config.text.old
boot
(say N to continue config)
enable
rename flash:config.text.old flash:config.text
copy start run
config t
enable password whatever
copy run start
