Exec override by trunk

I have a trunk that occasionally gets tied up by a trading position.

I have another trunk (announcement server) that 'always' should be able to get through to that trunk, as an unannounced executive override.

So, I go to my trading position 1, and press the button. I then go to lunch.

When the Announcement server needs that trunk, I want it to just join the trunk and make it's announcement.

Is there a code the announcement server can dial first to always break in?

I am not 100% sure of what you need however the following is possible,

Setup a code in WABE for FWDIGNOR
Setup a code in WABE for VOICECAL

You can voice call to an extension and 'come out over the speaker' using the Voicecal code if it is allowed by the destination extension.

You can over ride forwardings by using the Fwdignor code.

It is also possible to 'barge in' using the KNOVR/Second Call Key provided the destination has allowed it.

Doesn't DSS also ignore forwarding? I assume that's why they made the DSS without feature override function. In 9006 we used to call them "God buttons", because it didn't matter what the person had set up on their phone - it would cut through it all (including ignoring the system forwarding to go to voicemail, which is why I love the new feature!)

I will try that. Thanks.
I can't use a DSS because it's a computer dialing into the trunk/extension.

DSS does override the forwardings also yes.
Unless you setup the SDAT with DSSWOOVR - DSS Without Override
