exclude file types

Hi,

Veritas 9.1 - i want to exclude files types from a backup job... eg Folder A has file types a.1,a.2,a.3,b.1,b.2,b.3

I want the job to back up everything in the folder A except .2 file extensions.

I can do this using the advanced button and selecting exclude and this excludes any *.2 file extensions from the folder at that time.

Question: This folder has new .2 file extensions added to it regularly. is there anyway i can exclude the newly added .2 extensions without having to go back into the job all the time?

Any help would be appreciated.
