Exchange2K mailboxes under exec 8.6 3878

i can´t connet the exchange 2k server (sp2) on win2K (sp2)with the service account mailbox...

when i try to select the exchange mailboxes to save,i have to give the unique name for the service mailbox. (i gave the service account a mailbox. i installed the exch admin and mapi client (outlook2000) on the backup server..., then give the account on exchange full admin rights. our exch server is dc, too)

what can i do?

In order to select the mailboxes for backup, you must be logged into the server using the backupexec account created during the install. Otherwise you will not be able to select the individual boxes.

Also, what do you mean by full admin rights? Make sure you are selecting the created account to be a service account admin.

Holy Grail is absolutely correct. If your BE service account is called veritas, make sure you log onto the BE box as veritas.
