Hi,
I got few users using different e-mail address (forwarding to my Exchange 5.5).
They would like their address to be shown different when they send an e-mail.
Example: user has abc@one.com forwarded to my Exchange server, to address abc@two.com.

Now, I need user abc@two.com, when he sends an e-mail, when other side receive an e-mail from him to be shown as it's coming from abc@one.com.

I know it easy with Outlook Express, but can I do it with Exchange 5.5 and how?

Thanks

George

Goto the recipient properties of that user and make the default SMTP address the one you want (abc@one.com)

If I understand it right, SMTP server is the one used to send an e-mail.
In this case that's the same server where e-mail come to(forwarded from another server) and where e-mail is going from.

I can't use another SMTP preferences because my SMTP is not going to allow relaying.
Using Outlook Express I can specify my SMTP but different name and address.

That's what I need.

Any idea?

The SMTP server has nothing to do with specifying a users address. It is the DEFAULT SMTP address of that user which determines how it gets sent.
Your remark about not relay is invalid, since he can mail now as @two.com . All you have to do is change the default.
