Exchange Server has tons of Bad email 1

I am running Exchange 2000 with SP3 and I have the email forwarded from my ISP to my Exchange Server. I am noticing that the Badmail Folder is filling up with badmail. It is all SPAM and I do not have a SPAM filter. Can someone explain to me how SPAM gets into the badmail folder? It seem like there mail server got highjacked and is attempting to relay its spam? Any ideas?

Your badmail folder will contain all of the emails addressed to your domain, but not to a correct user. You can delete them.

you can automate the deletion of the badmail folder contents too, save yourself some time and stress
