Exchange Server 5.5: Not receiving Certain emails

I have exchange 5.5 and I receive emails from company's all over the country, but some organizations send email to my address and i never receive them. So its only certain organizations that can't send me email..Any one know?? Thanks. Jimmy

I ran into the same problem at my site. After 2 days battling it out with Verizon, it turned out that their DNS servers (this is on a MAN in southern N.J.) where not picking up a change in our DNS records.

Start with your DNS settings. Next try your relay, if you use one, then your ISP.

There are no errors that is the whole problem. The Emails sort of disappear. I checked all the logs and nothing. I agree that it is something with my ISP's DNS Servers. Thanks smugg Jimmy

I have the same problem as you that few organization cannot send email to us and there is no error message in our server. I've asked the sender ("Empire World Trade&quot to fax me the error message as below :

<< The recipient was unavailable to take delivery of the message.
The MTS-ID of the original message Is:c=US;a= ;p=Empire World Tra;I=NT4SERVV-020118163240Z-646.
MSEXCH:IMS:Empire World Trade Ltd:NT4Serv 3499 (000B099C) Host unreachable >>

Any idea ?
