Enterprise is being migrated from 5.5 to 2000 exchange server. Have one user, who creates many meetings and appointments. She was having slow response time, so the exchange staff, removed her profile and recreated it, now she is unable to update/cancel these prior meetings? Because these involve CEA's and CEO's, recreating all these meetings is not an option. Help !!!

We had the same problem after migrating. The main thing to check, is see if her user name changed. I know we went from Smith, John to John Smith. That caused problems, also any resources that were scheduled were previously booked by the account of the resource. If anyone tried to change something that was previously accepted in exchange 5.5, it denied them access, because the resource account had booked the appointment originally, and not them directly.

Basically look at what has changed and see if it would view her as the person that would have permission to change the appointment. We did end up having to delete a fair amount of meetings on our system and recreating them.

Hope this helps, even if it's just a little.

Thanx for your response Crasty, the naming convention did not change. The user is able to access the appointment but can't make changes (like the old 5.5 did not transfer the ability to the new profile in 2000 exchange).
