I have an exchange server 2000 setup at home through a permanent modem connection. If I connect my home exchange server at work through ADSL connection I can only send my email but I cant recieve it what can I do to recieve my email for my home domain.Do I have to change my IP address somewhere.

Yes you need to advise your host of your new IP address

But I want to run this exchange server on work ADSL on a temporary basis.

Then your only other choice is to ensure your ISP has all mail routed thru to a single POP3 mailbox (i.e. anything@yourdomain.com) and use something like POPBeamer to pick up mail and deliver to ur Exchange box.
