Exchange Public Foldes

I am using Exchange 2000 server, and backing up using Backup Exec 8.6 on another server. When I browse to the Exchange server when setting up a job, I cant select the Public Folders and back them up individually like you can with Arcserve 2000 etc.

Is there any way of doing this, as if I loose one public folder entry I have to retore the whole database.

Any ideas would be appreciated!!

yup.. the entire information store has to be restored..
i wouldnt personally recommend that to a live server. best to set up a recovery server if you want to only restore a single public folder..
convert to pst from the recovery server and copy across..

also making a regular copy of ure pub folders might be a good idea anyways.. copy contents to pst.. give it a date and back it up.
