I am going to be migrating from GroupWise 5.5 to Exchange 2000. I was wondering if anyone has experience using login scripts to automatically create the Exchange profiles on client PCs. Any information would be helpful!!

Thanks

You want to use the profgen.exe. I can email you some info and a link to the utility. I used the profile generator and found it to work very well. The only think you need to do to get ready is to make sure themailbox alias match the user login.

I tried that and found it takes a massive hit each time they log on.

I am willing to give it another go now that my desktops are more powerful - can you send info to zel@zelandakh.co.uk please?

I suggested (this forum, another forum, who knows?) a while ago that it could be done by setting up any user once then changing the username key in the registry, but no one knew of a way to change the reg successfully.
