I am having a hard time finding out the recommendation on server settings and running performance option.
I have an exchange running 3.5 GIGS of Ram running only exchange 2003 server and Symantec Mail security for exchange.....
My question is what should i have the settings on ::::::
System Properties, Advanced (tab), Performance (Settings) button,
Advanced (tab)...
System catch? Background services?
When i run exchange best practice analyzer it tells me my memory is set to more that the amount of memory i have in the system. Its currently set to Initail-4096 Max-4096..
Can some one please advice???

use expba and use all of its advise - the answer is "it depends" and exbpa is the right man on hand to help.

I used Exchang best practice analyzer..thats where i am getting the error message

I dont know if thats a good idea...normally its okay but i have never seen anyone set this setting on an exchange server.

Technically it should be 1.5 times RAM plus 70MB. But system ought to be ok.

I know...the problem is that 3.5G X 1.5 = 5.25 + 70 = 5.95 Gigs,,,,,Max is 4096?!!
