so i have mail enabled pubic folder that the software testers monitor for errors from webpage development. they monitor this public folder for errors and pass them along to Dev.

two of the software testers are complaining that it takes their outlook client (2010) up to 20 min for their view of the public folder to show the new email.

I have tested this by generating errors on the webpage, the email is sent and I and everybody can see the email i the public folder about 1 min after i generate the error. BUT these two users it takes a mim of 15 min for them to see the email.

these users are in the building with me and connected to the same exchange environment everybody else is. Ive checked every single outlook setting and do not see anything different than what i have set.

anybody have a suggestion on what could be causing this?

I had the two users log into OWA and check the PF for a email we just generated. it was not there and was not in their outlook client. How ever i see it in my outlook client and a slew of other users see the email....

i really dont understand what is causing this...........

How many public folder databases are there in your environment? How many Exchange servers? One possibility is that if you have two mailbox servers and the public folders are replicating, those two users may be connecting to a different public folder database and it takes about 20 minutes for pf replication to occur after a change, and that would explain why you are seeing the same behavior in Outlook: mailbox databases each can have their own public folder that they look to, so if those users are in a mailbox database that looks at a different pf database, then your scenario and the delays make sense.

i have 3 public folder db's and 3 exchange servers. two of them are in our corp office and the third is in another state at a DR site. I just checked the repliation tab on the pulicDB's adn they are set fore replication interval of "always Run" and a interval of 15 min. should i change the 15 min to 5 minutes?

Yes, if the 15 minute interval seems problematic for your business processes. I'll bet the users who are experiencing the issue have their mailboxes in a different mailbox database than yours, yes? If you want to fix the business problem, one thing you could do is consolidate your dev team so that their mailboxes are all on the same server and mailbox database--that way they would all be querying the same public folder database.
