Exchange monitoring software question

Is anyone usimng any kind of software to monitor there exchange system? Any recommendations.

Mail in/out as well as storage groups basically everything going on with exchange.

Hi, you should definitely take a look at Tek-Tools Profiler (

http://www.tek-tools.com

). Think of it as a a great Exchange monitoring application which even does attachment classification but it goes far beyond that with options for monitoring your storage, backups, servers, VMware and lot more. You will like it for sure. Extremely easy to deploy and user-friendly GUI.

Don't forget that Exchange has a lot of monitoring built into it. You just need to tune it.

We use MOM 2005 for most monitoring of our servers, including Exchange. Takes a little time to tone down the alerts though.
