i am currently having a problem backing up my Exchange_Mailbox. It keeps on failing with an error 41 network connection broken. It also processes at a very slow rate - about 300Kb per second. The Exchange_Infostore backup goes through fine and at a reasonable speed (+-2MB per second.)

Any suggestions out there would be appreciated.

I had the same problem until I split up the mailboxes and used multistream/multiplex.

Just because the VERITAS documentation states a certain thing does not make it a fact and that is truth.

You may also consider to change the following

parameters:

Client:

Client read timeout

Master Server:

Backup start notify timeout

Thank you Stumpr and Schms - I've tried both suggestions and both worked.

Pleasure to have helped.
Even greater pleasure when someone listens AND follows suggestions AND folllows up with results. Thank you!
