Exchange Mail Store will not Mount

Need a little help with this. I had a server supporting a very small group run out of space on the HD. I cleared out logs and cleared up space - but apparently too aggressively. I started getting event 9175 (every minute) and 8197 (every 25 minutes) and every now and the a 454 in the event viewer. I have followed all the advice I could find and restored the STM file (using the /createstm switch that completed successfully) Still cannot mount - all services are running.

At this point - I just need the server up until I can move them to 2007 or something else.

So here is my question - is there anyway to just start over? Clear everything out - let it keep the user base from the domain server and they can restore email from a PST file.

Any way to just start with new database & logs for the mail & pub store?

That is the only thing I can do unless I find some magic on getting the store mounted.

Before anyone asks - the database backup is not valid.
 
Copy the database to somewhere else and delete them from original location. Then re-install Exchagne using disaster recovery option. This may give you a new fresh database.
