Has anyone installed Exchange 2003 on a windows 2003 cluster?

When I did a Exchange 2000 cluster on a W2K adv server their was a perfect doc from microsoft. I cannot find a doc that explains the installation and perfomance tweaks for exchange 2003 w/W2k3 server. So What I am looking for is something right to the point from point a to point b...Thanks

Great thanks, question I want to install exchange on a different Volume, sometimes for some reason their is still stuff on the c drive even afetr inistalling to a different volume, ever have that problem?

Yes

Try rephrasing your question to something like "Which exchange components are installed where by default?" and you might get a more informative answer.

What I am trying to say is when I install exchange on the cluster I am trying to make sure that exchange will only install on the volume I select...

If you take a look at the server object in the configuration container with adsiedit, you'll see an attribute called MSexchDataBath. This path is used for:

1. The default database path
2. The location of the gatherer logs used by the MSSearch instance
3. The message tracking logs if you have message tracking enabled.

In addition, the smtp virtual server queue directory will be in c:\inetpub\mailroot by default.

Depending on direction, content conversion takes place in either the working directory (defailts to MSexchDataPath) or the system temp directory (%systemroot%\system32\temp)

All of these locations can be changed.

Yes, actually the inetpub will be inistalled on a different volume (e:webroot)

Ok I installed on my new cluster exchange 2003, but it shows the current cluster which is on a windows 2000 adv server cluster with exchange 2003 installed on it already.

What I have is currently - windows 2000 adv with exchange 2003 clustered.

what I build was a new windows 2003 cluster with exchange 2003 installed on it.

So how do I get this new cluster to see itself only and the current users to the new cluster? Thanks

let me rephrase this I need a new database for my new exchange 2003 cluster install...
