Exchange backup question.

Just the info. store needs to backup, right?
Or do I need to backup the systems state and the shadow copy?
btw I am running a differential back with a full backup during the weekend.

what do you want to back up. if its just the database then you could backup the "mdbdata" folder within the exchange folder

I have exchange 2003 and have BE11d agent installed.
All I want to know if just backing up the info store is all I need to do.

backing up the mdbdata folder will not work. Backup Exec has automatic file exlusions to skip the mdbdata folder. You need to backup the information store using the exchange angent..at minimum
