Moving thread from Exchange forum, was advised that this is more a Mitel question than an Exchange one.
We are looking at a rollout of Exchange 2007 company wide. We have several small branch offices, a main office and a design office. Each location has a Mitel 3300 ICP for VOIP internal calls, and a TAPI server that manages contacts, and talks directly to the Telephone API on the Mitel box.
All of the phones we have are MiNET phones, not SIP phones. Will the Exchange server and mitel box be able to route calls from the MiNET phones, or will we need to keep the current setup?
The TAPI application is a java app, and the system it is run on needs to be re-started each day thanks to an unpatched memory leak. We'd like to stop using it if at all possible, but replacing phones company wide is not really an option. Are we stuck using the current system and not getting full Exchange integration?
