Exchange Agent problems Arcserve V9.01

Since A short periode I use Arcserve V9.01, with a Exchange Agent and a Client Agent. Arcserve is on a different server then the Exchange agent (that's why I use the client agent)

First I had errors backing up on bricklevel. I had to disable a user and after that the backup was hanging on bricklevel. To stop the job, I had te reboot the server.

I was told to change the following dll to fix it: dbaxchg2.dll. I did, but I received an error. I changed it back, but I was no longer be able to browse on bricklevel in a job. I received the error: "2502 Exchange System error" I deinstalled Exchange Agent and reinstalled it. Now I am not able to configure my agent. The following I found in the logfile:

So you can see there are a few errors I can not explain en I don't know what to do. Now my problem is bigger then before i changed the .dll. Please help!

Problem solved. User was hide from the Exchange-addressbook!

Hi,

have you installed the exchange agent like it writen down in this documents?

For Exchange 5.5

When the exchange server is installed on a member server you need to create a loakl account on it with the same username and password as the domain account.

Yes I did.... This problem is solved. The mailbox was hidden from the addressbook. Thanks for your reply!

But I check that checkbox of hide from list is unchecked
