I have exchange 2003 installed on a Windows 2003 server and when I go to the domain controller and go to the exchange active directory users and computers I don't get the exchange attributes that show me the exchange information on a users account. If I right click on the user there is exchange tasks but that seems to only remove the exchange attributes from the account. This has left me with a pretty usesless mail server.

If you haven't mailbox enabled a user, they won't have the Exchange property tabs in the user accounts.

Just installing Exchange doesn't create all the mailboxes. You have to right click on them and EXCHANGE TASKS>CREATE MAILBOX

I understand that but when I select Exchange tasks create mailbox is not an option. The only task that shows is remove exchange attributes.

Ah - wait - I think I read your initial post too fast.

You're attempting to view the info from the DC, which is NOT the server with Exchange on it, right?

If that's the case, you have to install the Exchange management tools on the DC, along with the same service packs that are installed on your Exchange server.
