ive got a few mobile devices in the office, using exchange active sync no problems, but a new one was just introduced yesterday, its a sprint phone running win mobile 5, everything else is running win 2003 mobile, and has no problems......the sprint phone syncs with the calander, contacts, and tasks no problem, but when it gets ready to do the messages i get an error 0x85010014, ActiveSync encountered a problem on the server.
did research as found this explination for the error:
*Outlook needs to be in online mode the first time you synchronize. To make sure you are not working offline, click File and deselect Work Offline.
*Click Send and Receive when you are connected to your network again.
but since this is connecting through the exchange activesync, i didnt see how the client machine played any part in this???? also could not figure out why the older PDA's connected no problems, and the new mobile 5 was not
server:
win 2003 std sp1
exchange 2003 std sp2
no ssl (yeah i know, big no no..lol)
client:
win xp pro sp2
outlook 2000 sp3
mobile:
win mobile 5
AS 4.0
thank you in advance
