Exchange 5.5 store recovered, how can I get the data out?

I have a machine in which BOTH drives dies in the mirror, it will not boot.

it was running exchange 5.5, I used software to recover the whole exchsrvr folder. How can I get the mailboxes and data out of the store? (without booting the server, because it won't) I have installed Server 2003 and Exchange 2003 on a new HDD and just need to import the data somehow.

Try using the Exmerge utility. If the DB is in a consistent state, that should do it - though you may need to use the Exchange 5.5 version, as I don't know if the 2003 version will read the older DB.

When all else fails, read the book!

I say DITTO on the first option. If that fails, simply login via Outlook client profile pointed to the mailbox on the restored IS,,,then .PST all wanted messages.
