Exchange 5.5 store.exe process running high

Our Exchange Server 5.5 Store.exe is running high. Anytime this happens noone in the company is able to access any mails until the store.exe is started with the Internet Mail service. I have reinstalled service pack 4 but still having the same problem. I am running MCafee on the Server but this has been on the Server for the past year or so without any problem. Can you throw more light on this - any links to resolve the problem or any ideas to help. HELPPPPPPPP!!!!!
 
I forgot to also mention that Inetinfo process sometimes run high. I am also running 5.5 on Win2000.
 
I'm assuming McAfee GroupShield? If so, did you recently update the .dat and restart the info store? It will cause all the mailboxes to be scanned.
 
I have done this but it is still not working.
 
There are a number of bugs in SP4 that have been corrected since its release with hotfixes - in fact there is a hotfix rollup dated from Dec 2004 that you would be recommended to install.

relates to the specific problem you are having.
