There is a KB article that will walk you through setting up Message Journaling. Don't know the article number. Follow it exactly, and it works. Some of the registry entries look LikeThis, while others look Like This, so that's why I say to follow exactly!

Hi,
I hope you are not looking for getting a copy of mails that are addressed to "Everyone" group. If so, you can add your name to "Everyone" distribution List and you will get all the mails sent to Everyone.
If this is not you are looking for, please provide some more information on what exactly is the problem.

Ash, I need to only read Sent mail form seleted person,I am currently recieving all incomming mail on Exchange 5.5 on Nt4.0, We are using OutLook 2000. I need that person sent mail forwarded or sent a copy to me. I hope this help.

Thanks,
Tom

I think that you would have to set up a mailbox rule so that any mail that gets sent from that mailbox, a copy also goes to you. The only problem with that is it would have to be done on the client. You could create a profile on your desktop and setup the rule. But, of course, the user in question could remove the rule when/if he noticed the rule in effect.

I am not aware of another way to do it.

The best way to do this confidentially (if you are an admin) is to use exchange admin to add yourself as a permissions admin to the users inbox. This will allow you to use outlook and click File->Open->other users folders. Choose the user and the folder you want to view (Sent Items) and click ok. You can set this up permenantly by going to tools->services->MS Exchange Server->Advance tab->Add. Again add the user in this window. Now when ever you open your email that user's inbox will open also.

The only problem with this is that as soon as a user sends a message he can delete the items in the sent folder before you get a chance to see them. You can get around this by setting up a rule on your computer/outlook with the users inbox open that says when ever any message appears in the sent items folder of the user a copy is copied to a folder you specify in your outlook mailbox.

It's a round about way, but it keeps it descret if your trying to catch someone in the act.

Mantislee, Thank you. The rule is not that clear about sent a copy to me at all. I only see one option under rule but then the sent box sent to me and the sender will saw that right away. Please post step by step what rule and options. Thank you in advance.
