Manager had admin assistant (user id ASST) and she was set up as a delegate so she could see/manage Manager calendar. ASST left company and her XCHG mailbox and domain account was deleted. Now whenever users invite Manager to meeting thru Calendar function, they get message returned to their mailbox - "The following recipient(s) could not be reached:

Skalla, Tina on 11/12/2001 8:53 AM
The recipient name is not recognized
The MTS-ID of the original message is: c=US;a= ;p=Lightchip;l=MAIL-011112135245Z-4604
MSEXCH:MSExchangeMTA:LIGHTCHIP:MAIL"

How can we make this go away?

At out site we removed the problem by removing all permission-info on the managers inbox and then reapplying it.

It's a known error and you can find info about it at Microsofts web-site.

Go to Exchange Admin for your Manager and check the delegates tab (I think) and you will find her name. Remove this entry.

We have the same problem as all above and I'd love to be able to centrally administer delegates (rather than through users individual Outlook settings). Unfortunately there is no delegates tab in Exchange admin

The manager also may have set her up as a delegate from his Outlook (client-side). Check there to see if he has set her as a delegate and remove the delegation.

Right-Click the Outlook Today container .. properties, then permissions.

See if that person is there. If so -- remove as an added measure to the suggestions made by Zelandakh. Alshrim
