I have 2 exchange servers, 1 that holds the blackberrys and the users and 1 that holds the rest of the users. How should my routing tabs be setup? On the first exchange server, the first one at this site, is configured to accept inbound mail for the domain and the outside IP of that server and relay messages associated with the 2nd servers outside IP. The 2nd server is setup to accept inbound connections for the domain and its outside IP. Do I have to keep the relay on for the 1st server? Thanks.

Hi!
Are both servers running Exchange 5.5 and are they in the same Exchange Org?
If the answer is positive then you need to have IMS installed just on one of the Exchange 5.5 servers and only this server needs to be exposed to internet. You don’t have to expose the other server (configure PAT or NAT with a public IP for it). You don’t have to configure routing between the servers too.
