Hello Tek-Tippers,

I have a question for those of you who have way more experience than I...I'm wondering how I can get the "Play on Phone" feature in Outlook to work. I've set up the Voicemail to Email feature and UMS on Exchange. There's the "Play on Phone" feature that doesn't do anything...

Have any of you been able to get that to work with IP Office? I can't seem to figure it out.

Thanks for your suggestions!

Previously, I believe you needed an audio codecs gateway. The IP Office also did not support a certain SIP featured needed for it to work properly (redirect?...I think?). I heard R8 would have that fixed but I have not had a chance to play with it yet. Been stuck with these lousy R7 installations...no new cool stuff.

Hey Austin,

Thanks for your reply. The R7 is the one that just came out? If so, we just upgraded from 5 to 7.

I'm relatively new to this, I mostly deal with SysAdmin stuff...so please pardon my ignorance. This audio codecs gateway is something that won't be needed in R8 (allegedly?)

Sorry, I have to go back to my boss with this info...so I need to understand it as much as I can.

Thanks,
Justin

Actually R8 just came out. Do not take my word as gospel though, I'm going by what I've read on here about R8. Have not had a chance to do anything with it yet, sadly.
