We are migrating from Exchange 2003 to 2007. We use SSL offloading, so the 2003 server is configured to use http only and the encryption is done by another device. This means we can hit the 2003 server internally using http instead of https.

Well I'm trying to set up the same thing for 2007. I followed the instructions from a microsoft article. But all does is re-direct to
It doesn't refuse it like it did when SSL was turned on. But shouldn't it connect with just http and not re-direct to https?

Doesn't anybody use a third party SSL appliance with Exchange 2007? If so, are you able to access owa internally with only http:// ?
