I am trying to backup Exchange 2007 document level and the following error in the Exchange agent logs:

04/29/2008-14:11:50 TID:1154>[MAPISIS WARNING] OpenProperty for PR_RTF_COMPRESSED return MAPI_E_NOT_FOUND

I have looked at the config on the server and it all seems to be set up fine.

Any Idea?

Is that an error? does activity log show any warning or error message for this job ?

There are no errors in the job log, the issue I have is the throughput in 19 Mb per minute on the document level backup. The information is taken from the exsispa.bk.trc log on the server which then reports that the mailboxes faile to backup.

okay that message has got nothing to do with the throughput. What is your database level throughput?

The following are the figures for the server

DBAEXSIS\First Storage Group Through put 13.04
DBAEXDBVSS\Second Storage Group Through put 313.24
DBAEXDBVSS\First Storage Group Through put 303.54

The antivirus has been checked and reconfigured.

Found the following:

When the McAffee GroupShield for Exchange service is stopped the backup is running at 331.48 MB/Per min if the service is started during the backup the throughput rate gradually drops down to 14. MB/Per min, if the service is once again stopped the throughput of the job picks up again but holds steady at around 200 MB/per min.

Just need to figure out a way round this issue.

Joseph

there should be an option in groupshield to exclude outgoing emails and check if that helps. I am sure even windows 'ntbackup' will suffer the same problem. Best is to get in touch with mcafee to see if they have any workaround for backups.
