Exchange 2003 - 1

When backing up the mailboxes on my Exchange Server 2003 email server, I receive the following error message:

[purple]\\Servername\Microsoft Exchange Mailboxes
Database or database element is corrupt[/purple]

I also noticed that several email messages cannot be verified due to being recognized as corrupt. Will running an offline defrag with ESEUtil.exe clear up the corruption and, as a result, clear up the error messages during backup?

No, eseutil /d won't sort it. Get the users to delete the emails or get the Veritas seer document on not failing the job with those errors.
