Exchange 2003 MAPI/Logon Error on other subnets

Hi, Everybody, i need som help please.

I have recently installed a new Win2k3 server with Exchange 2003 it works fine, and i can connect to the server via outlook when im online at the same subnet as the server, but else i cant, i keep say the server is offline, i can check the name and then it stops responding.... like some port is not funtioning, but i have configured static ports for mapi..

Any suggestions??????

Hi

this sounds like a naming resolution problem. Try to ping the server name from the remote locations. If that does not work try pinging the ip address, if you get a reply you have found the problem. If this is the case check your dns settings on your pc andon your dns server to make sure that the correct ip address is assigned to the correct server.

Hi Thanks.

But i have tried that, and the DNS works fine, the OWA works fine, so does POP3, IMAP and the MIS part, but its only mapi that do not work.......

any other suggestion?
