I'm not even sure how to start, but here goes. I want to be able to compaose a new email and choose between my email address (email1@company.com) and the other alias (email2@companyname.com) in the "FROM:" field.

I already have email1@company.com mailbox already created and currently using it.

Will i need to create a 2nd mailbox for email2@company.com?

I'm currentlly running
MS Outllok 2003
MS Excahnge 2003
Thanks

You can have as many email addresses as you like, just add one to your account in AD and use "From" field to select it when composing new email.

Just like NOktar said:

Go to active directory. Select the user\Properties\under email\add SMTP address.

The From field uses AD so if you only have the one AD account, how can you select different SMTP addresses that all resolve to the same acc?

There's a piece of software you can buy though - just can't recall it.
