Exchange 2000 MSN Messenger Failure (Win2k3 Environment)

hey all. me again.

we have upgraded our network to Windows 2003. We are still running Exchange 2000 with no plans to upgrade (not yet anyway). The exchange box is running under a Windows 2003 DC an everything is working great EXCEPT our MSN Messenger Service. Email is fantastic etc...

when anyone attempts to sign into Messenger, the error 'service temporarily unavailable' appears. its really baffling us.

any thoughts?

It's probably MSN IM v 4.6. Did you try updating to v 4.7?
