Exchange 2000 - Mail box restore

I get the following error when i restore a exchange mail box,

BAB 9.0 2040, win 2000 sp3, exchange 2000

Restore option: "Always overwrite messsage" was set
ERROR: Fail to Open Message: MAPI return[80040107]
ERROR: MAPI system error: SaveChanges() return[8004011a]
ERROR: MAPI system error: SaveChanges() return[80070005]
ERROR: ExchRestoreMessage() return [2102]
FAILED: Restore one message --- ErrorCode:[2102]
FAILED: Get Error Message --- ErrorCode:[35]
ERROR : EXCH Exchange Agent -- (2502) \"Exchange system error\".

Any help would be appreciated....

Is the mailbox created? When restoring a single mailbox I've found that you neeed to create the mailbox, and login to it 1st this will create the base folders and then do the restore.

Looking at:

The most informative error to me is:

MAPI_E_NO_ACCESS 80070005 -2147024891

This may suggest that the security for the restore is not sufficient. When you submit the restore job there is a tab on the security screen for database agents that is blank by default. Make sure that this list the proper account and password. Also manually select the mailbox you want to restore to.
