Hi everyone,
Our company has a need to log every access to a person's mailbox for security reasons. The only way I know of to see a log of the access time, who logged on, and who's mailbox they logged on to is using:
Diagnostics Logging\MSExchangeIS\Mailbox\Logons+AccessControl
Unfortunately, this causes my Application Log to fill up very quickly. Our logs are set to 5MB and to overwrite as needed. In this configuration, the server only retains 20 minutes worth of logs before overwriting. I will get many of the same log; such as 100 instances of a user logging on to their mailbox and 100 instaces of a user doing accessing their inbox and so forth.
I only want to receive one instance of each event that happens. If I could reduce the instance number down to one, the size of my log file would easily accomodate the amount of logs I would receive. Can anyone offer any advice to help me reduce the number of logs I'm getting.
Thanks for any help offered
