exch 5.5 - 2000 IMC problem

Hi

i have a exch2k that joined a 5.5 site and have now moved all mailboxes to my 2k box

however when i try to stop the 5.5 imc and use the 2k imc the mail still trys to route and queues up on the 5.5 imc

i have set the cost of the 5.5 to 100 and the 2k to 10 but this still does not work

any ideas

Stop the MTA service on the 5.5 box as well as the IMS, and mail will no longer queue for the 5.5 IMS.

You may want to check your routing tables in the IMC.

hi thanks but this still does not work

my imc and mta are both stopped on my 5.5 - now due to lack of space and cant get them started again

and my 2k does not / will not send mail - cant see mail gettin g queued it just seems to disappear

if i start mta on 5.5 the mail just queues there but my imc wont start now

however i would rather get 2k working

receiving okay but not sending

please help urgent

got it working - the isp smarthost name was wrong

ech2k now routing mail to external addresses
