Exch 2000 IM Set-Up Question

I am in the process on setting up IM in my Exch 2000 environ. All documentation indicates to use the "default" website. I have the default website assigned to OWA.

Will the IM website require a new one? (I'm thinking, yes).
If so, are there Exchange attributes that are required?

You have the choice to host it on the default web site or create a new one

When I installed Exchange IM, I already had OWA running on the default website. IM is also using the default site and I have had no problems.
