I have a Dell PowerEdge 4400 with a Dell PowerValut 120 DLT 7000 Auotloader on it. With Arcserve 6.61 the same backup job runs every night at the same time. It backs up about 160 gb of data. Most of the time it takes about 6 hours to complete, but once or twice a month at complete random, it will take 10 to 12 hours to complete. Any ideas why this would happen. Thanks for any help ! !

Is it always a full backup? Is there a process that runs occasionally that is resource hungry like anti-virus, database reorg, or defrag? What's running on this box? I need more info...

Any exchange in this backup? As above, NEED MORE INFO.
