Exception Error Message

Hi, I receive the following message when starting Windows 98. "An exception OE has occured at 0028:c1507AC2 in VxD ESD1-506 (or)+ 1022 called from 0028:C18319E8 in VxD voltrack (04)." Anyone have any idea what is causing this message.

This message comes up when Windows is starting up. There is no zip drive attached to this machine. I uninstalled Norton Anti Virus and it seems to be running better. I don't know if that solved the problem.

Howdy:

This error message could be caused by a problem with CD-RW burner Software such as Adaptec's EZ CD Creator or the HP burner software.

Solution :

Re-Install the CD-RW software.

Hi, this machine has a regular CD-ROM drive no CD-RW. It does have an external 3Com modem. Could that be the cause?
