Hello.

I am having a problem with Excel not working on less than 100% zoom. Som pages in the workbook will work and some wont. I have tried reinstalling and still no go. Anybody ever seen this problem? Thanks in advance.

I have seen issues where charts won't zoom properly if no printers are installed on the computer. Not sure if this applies to you.

Work as in will zoom or not. I can get them to go to 80% and after that it will go no further. I have installed the Service Packs and still no luck. I have done another uninstall and still no good. I have done spyware and Adware scans along with Antivirus.

Might be worth checking the page setup options to see if it is set to print on 1 page x 1 page - dependant on printer settings, this may prevent excel from showing the sheet in a way that wouldn't print

Xlbo,

I tried your suggestion and still no dice. This is truly one of the weirdest things. I have tried almost everything. (Besides Clean Install of OS) -- I hate that. Its like giving up. There has to be an answer out there. The only thing I can associate is A Symantec Client Upgrade. I removed Anti Virus and then reinstalled and still no action.

NetworkGuy101:

If you have a minute, I think more details might be helpful.

What version of Excel and what environment? Also, is the problem occuring in different workbooks or just between sheets of a single workbook?

Are there different levels of protection between the sheets that are "zoomable" and the ones that are not? Are templates involved? Finally, can you describe the nature and size of the data on the zoomable vs. non-zoomable sheets?

I can't help but suspect the solution will be one where you smack your forehead and say "I can't believe THAT caused THIS!!"

Good luck,
Tim

Well it will work in some sheets and not others. If I create a new workbook and try zoom it will not work below 80%. After that it goes haywire. Page Border View does not work also. It is Office 2000. Ive tried unpatched and patched. No levels of protections have been set. Even on new workbooks the zoom still does not work.
