We use Excel to show test results, displayed next to blocks of text pasted from the specifications (which are written in Word).

In some cases, Word Wrap fails for the last paragraph or the last few paragraphs. The end of the paragraph becomes unreadable, not displayed. I can get round this by inserting a line-break, but that takes extra effort. Is there some simple fix that I am missing?

The problem normally occurs when the pasted block is large, around 2000 characters.

Excel 2002 and Word 2002. Several hundred people use the system, so I can't fiddle with system basics or get an upgrade to a newer version.

Are you running into Excel's maximum row height of 409 points?

You may be running up against Excel's display limits. Per the Excel specifications and limits, only 1,024 characters are displayed in a cell, even though up to 32,767 characters can be stored in a cell and displayed in the formula bar.

Use the Len() command to find the number of characters in your cell and then adjust your display accordingly.

Hope this helps.

I checked and it is 1506 characters. It seems I've pushed Excel beyond its limits. Thanks for the advice, though.

I don't follow the bit about '409 points' - I've only ever seen it as length.

In any case, it is a standard design so I'll have to live with the limits. Or else do the same tests on several Excel tabs rather than one.
