I want to import Excel into Access without linking the 2 together. I followed the directions on:
"Creating a new Access database from an Excel spreadsheet"

After opening the Excel file in Access with the import wizard (I can't find the import option), the access database shows the Excel icon indicating they are linked. How do I break this link because I will delete the Excel file after importing it correctly.

I can't find the import option
menu File -> External data -> Import ...

Hope This Helps, PH.
