Hey there!
I have a simple spreadsheet which works out how many hours you have worked in a day and how many hours this creates during a week and so on...
e f g h
b - a d - c e + f 3:00
3:45 3:15 7:00 10:00
3:35 3:00 6:35 16:35
3:30 3:25 6:55 23:30
4:10 3:40 7:50 7:20
Column E shows how many hours worked in the morning
Column F shows how many hours worked in the afternoon
Column G shows how many hours worked for the day
Column H is the problem! - showing the running total for the week including any extra hours brought forward
I want it to add up the total hours done for the day in column g and the previous total for the week in column H (the cell above each time)
I use the formula =I12+H13 (I and H are the proper column and row references in my workbook but the principle should work anywhere)
This actually works perfectly for the first three rows as you can see but get to '7:20' and the formula fails??? Why?
Please Help it so annoying!
