We are running Excel 2000 on Windows 98 and Windows ME. The latest updates and service packs have been applied.
The following shortcut keys have stopped working properly in Windows 98, in that they do not move to the next active cell, but to the end of the row (e.g. Column IV) or column, skipping all the active cells. The keys that used to work are <ctrl> + arrow. The spreadsheet is not protected. The <ctrl> + arrow keys used to take the user to the next active cell in the row or column.
The TAB key is not working properly in Windows ME any longer either.
I have reinstalled and repaired Office. I have found no answers in the MS Knowledge Base.
Any ideas on how to fix this?
