When I select 'Save As' from the drop down menu I receive the following error:
" 'idmxl8.xla' Could not be found. Check spelling of the file name, and verify that the file location is correct. "

What I am attempting to do is modify the file and save it under another name. If I just do a save then it will overwright the old file normaly. Any idea's. I have reinstalled MS Office 2000, and the version of Excel is (9.0.4402 SR-1)

idmxl8.xla
".xla" and not ".xls"? Are you creating an add-in, using an existing add-in, or do you have the "file type" box set to the wrong setting?

Using an existing add in. It's a time sheet. I have been using it for a long time.

1.) Remove all copies of IDMLX8.XLA file from PC
2.) In Excel go to TOOLS, ADDONS and uncheck-remove IDMXL8 addon if present.
3.) In Excel go to TOOLS, CUSTOMIZE, TOOLBARS, highlight each active toolbar then
select RESET.
4.) Close EXCEL, re-open EXCEL. SAVE-AS function should work normally.

This file is a macro that comes from ImageFlow program. It is not compatable with Office 2000, hence the errors.
