I have an Excel question. If you want to start a graph at zero (Y scale) and have the next number skip to say 1,000 and then have the Y scale increment 1,000 on each hatch mark after that to say 10,000, does anyone know how to acccomplish this in Excel? I'm not sure what the terminology is--double hatch marks? I know how to start a graph at other than 0.

I hope this is what you are asking.

Once you have plotted the Chart, you can point to the Y axis, Right click and choose Format axis. Under the scale tab set Minimum to Zero, maximum to whatever your Max is and Major Unit to 1000 and Minor unit to (say 200).

I have tried this and have not been successful. Can you send me a graph with something similar simulated? Is it possible to send attachements?
