I am unable to copy cells from my desktop and use paste special to put them in a spreadsheet in my Citrix window. Paste works fine.
Does anybody know if this is a limitation of Citrix? Or is it the terminal server?
I've searched technet, Citrix support pages and the web but can find no reference to it.
We are running Windows NT 4.0 workstation, Excel 97 on the desktop and NT 4.0 Terminal Server and Metaframe XP on the server.

dfriedrich,

I am running NT4, MF 1.8, Office 2K, Win2K, and can copy / paste from one to the other, and even paste special.

The thing it does differently is that it only pastes the values, not the expressions/formuale on my setup, when I do a straight "paste"

When I do a "paste special" it will ask what (text, unicode, picture, bitmap or DIF) and then will only paste values, not formulae.

Hope this makes sense, or validates what you are expreiencing. Cheers,
Sam

Yes that is the same options I get when I use paste special but I need it to be able to transfer formula.
